One of the highlights of 2020 in my opinion is the premiere of Guy Ritchie’s latest film, The Gentlemen! It’s adrenaline-pumping, clever, and leaves you wanting more. I’ve seen this movie three times already and I will most probably watch it for a fourth time soon again.
What can I say, I love me a movie that has clever writing, plot twists, and makes my heart race a little faster, with each scene that passes by. In true Guy Ritchie filmmaking manner, where the bad boys with their hard-knock toys rule, The Gentlemen colourfully reveals the underground world of the marijuana industry and power-hungry organised crime groups. Not to mention, the fashion is fierce. Bravo to the costume design team.

If you haven’t watched this fantastic Crime-Action film yet, and you love a good adrenaline-rush, then I’d definitely recommend checking out the movie trailer below. However, if you’re so over trailers and want to watch it ahora, aka now, just head straight over to your Netflix account (yes, it was recently added – woot!) and give it a watch.

I really wouldn’t want to spoil any details for anyone who hasn’t seen it as of yet. What I will share are that some of the cast members and characters include, but are not limited to the following: Matthew McConaughey (Dazed and Confused) as Michael “Mickey” Pearson, Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey) as Rosalind Pearson, Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy) as Ray, Colin Farrell (Miami Vice) as Coach, and Hugh Grant (Love Actually) as Fletcher. Just sharing my excitement about this film since it truly impressed me.
I you’re more in the mood to listen to music rather than watch a movie, you can also check out some of the muzika featured in this adrenaline-pumping film:
✩ Boxes of Bush – Bugzy Malone – listen
✩ Oh Shit – The Pharcyde – listen
✩ The Snake – Johnny Rivers – listen
✩ That’s Entertainment – The Jam – listen
✩ Free Me – Paul Jones – listen
✩ Shimmy Shimmy Ya – El Michels Affair – listen
I have found myself listening to these songs (and more) numerous times after having watched the film. Still patiently waiting to watch the trailer? No worries, it’s right below here.
