Glitter eyeliner has been one of my go-to products for sparkling up my mood lately. If there’s some sort of event I need to go to, or if I just want a little pick me up to feel pretty I’ll line my upper lash line with a gold metallic liner or if I’m feeling really festive glitter. I’m a very visual person, so seeing myself with some sparkle, sparkles up my mind too. That’s why sometimes I put on metallic eyeliner to enhance my mood. I say, try it! Maybe it’ll have the same effect on you too.

When I was younger (I’m talking 12/14 years old) I was obsessed with monochromatic outfits and accessories. Red top, red nails, red earrings, red bracelet, maybe jean shorts, but with black and white checkered vans slip-ons, with guess what: a red cherry on top. A part of me still secretly loves putting together looks like this as you can see with my blue top, earrings and glitter-lined eyes above.

I have never really been one to fully allow myself to experiment with makeup. I guess I’ve just been hesitant because it would mean diving into a whole other world full of new possibilities, and it seems a bit scary. BUT, I’ve always loved seeing others experiment and do interesting beauty looks, and I think I’m ready now to at least try some looks. Especially because, after having written this blog, I’ve come to acknowledge the fact that “hey, makeup can make you feel good”. I’m not saying I’ll be putting on a lot every day, because that’s just not really my style…but I’m definitely open to experimenting more. Even if it’s just me, myself, & I having a solo makeup party at home. Haha. So here’s to trying one (or maybe all) of the following beauty looks one day!
