The main goal of this sewing project was to make alterations to a ‘batwing’-esque dress and transform it into a T-shirt dress for my grandma, aka Oma Maria, for her Carnival 2020 celebration event. Safe to say, it was a success, and my grandma was happy with the end results. This was also the first time I had a pressing deadline for a sewing project (since OAA’s sewing exams back in May 2019).
