I volunteered as the ‘Production Manager’ & ‘MC/Performance Coordinator’ for the 2018 production of Art Fashion by Aruba Art Fair. The stylish and art-infused fashion show was hosted in San Nicolas – Aruba’s very own up-and-coming art district.
This was my first time wearing the hat of Production Manager for a big fashion event, and I loved getting to experience all of the behind the scenes magic. Super grateful for the assistance I received from the other volunteers during show night. Teamwork makes the dream work, especially in the fashion industry!
Fun Fashion Fact: Art Fashion 2018 is also the event which hosted the longest runway in Aruba (approx. a 1-minute walk per model). Keep in mind that some collections used the same model for various looks. Talk about a catwalk that burns cals! LOL!
